I didn't write that you thought it was a good idea. No need to be defensive.

Cunningham wasn't an asshat in 98 when he lead the Vikes to 15-1 and one Gary Andersen pooch kick from the Super Bowl. If anyone was an asshat for all those years in Philly it was Buddy Ryan

He was mostly unhappy w/ Garcia, and they got rid of Garcia the next season so that didn't make much sense at all.
You are kidding right? He is worthless, yah he plays amazing football, but dealing with all the rest of his crap isnt worth it. I dont miss him and I wish whoever ends up with him when the Eagles get sick if his **** the best. Jeff Garcia was just as worthless and if you think he would have been any happier with Tim Rattay or Ken Dorsey you need to lay of the crack pipe.

Garcia is more of a "system" kind of QB. He is pretty good in a west coast type of system because it favors accuracy and short passes. As such, he was pretty worthless after they let go of Mariucci because he can't play in a vertical passing system (T.O. is probably best in a vertical system).

Actually, T.O. was lightly lobbying for Rattay because he had a stronger arm. But you're correct T.O. is such a locker room cancer that his demeanor negates most of his considerable skills. This is a guy that got a more than adequate contract when he signed with the Eagles...then starts asking for even more just one season after signing it. T.O. is garbage.

it makes me think whatever happened to WR's like cris carter, jerry rice, etc who at least had manners and treated people with respect, well relative to today's WR's anyway. they talked isht every now and then, but they were overall good players who worked hard and didnt complain....

Yes he does...and he would make ANY team's offense better regardless of what he does off the field. I never said that he would be happier with rattay, but the niners used the excuse that he wouldn't work with their offensive strategy(Garcia). When it comes down to it, York was too cheap to pay a superstar player superstar money. That comes back to my original point that the niners made a huge mistake letting him go.

You would be crazy to think that the niners are better without T.O. Almost all the "big time" WR in the league have a "bad attitude." Randy Moss, Tory Holt, Keshawn (a couple years ago) Johnson, etc...have all been menaces off the field but they still made their teams better on Sunday.

Marvin Harrison
Chad Johnson (dude literally lives at the team's practice facility and doesn't party or anything)

Chad Johnson is the man. I love his checklist...did he cover me [] yes or [] no. So far he has checked all no's. That is hilarious.

Forget that, I would rather have our decent recievers, then a loud mouth ******* who will complain about anything and everything. We dont need him, we are better off without him. If he was a niner last year I bet we wouldnt even have won 1 game.

How does that make any sense? Its fine if you can't stand the guy, but how can you say we would have lost more games with him in our line-up? Regardless if you like his attitude, he is a better WR than loyd, battle and morton. Hell, our best reciever last year was a freaking tight end!

I was wrong about tory holt, but you know what I'm saying about wide outs being prima donnas.
