bubbling sound from engine from stop and go driving
i noticed a bubbling sound from my engine after long periods of stop n go driving. it happens after i start me engine and goes away in like 10 seconds. is this anything to be concerned? also, i notice my idle revs increasing everytime im in traffic. normal revs are at 500rpms and when im in traffic, it would jump to around 1500 rpms and stay there.

Does it sound like a hookah or bong? My car did that for a bit...it went away after I topped off the cooling system. Try this: when the car's cold, open the cap and squeeze the top radiator hose several times to "burp" the system. Then top off with distilled water or coolant.

Anyhow, it did have a gauge (of sorts), not an idiot light. It would only run at 1/3 up the guage when the level was low, instead at 1/2 way when the coolant level was good.
