Brakes Squealing! plz help?

Ok so since i got rid of my brembo gt brake kit, ive been slowly getting more and more squeal in the left front brake system on stock rotors and hawk hps pads. funny thing is that i got rid of the brembos because i didnt like the way they squeal... anyways, the squealing is most apparent when i make right turns, but recently has started to grind and scrape under normal straight line braking. today i got fed up with it and looked at the rotor, since i previously hadnt bothered to check. there is what appears to be a groove either forming or existing on the outer edge. however when i ran my key accross it to gauge depth it didnt seem deep enough to be a groove. i want to get rid of the squealing, its super embarassing. are my rotors warped, is there something wrong with my brakes, or what? i know ive read a lot about peoples rotors warping and related issues. if this has happened to you, chime in please. id mostly like to know if this problem might be solved by installing a better set of rotors. but really, i dont want/need to spend money on the car. tia everyone.

did the hawk pads just get installed or have they been sitting in the stock calipers for a while?

I have Hawk HPS pads and they squeal when I'm driving kind of slow. I think it has to do with the pad more then the rotors and calipers. I also have a grove at the bottom of the rotors too.

the pads have been on for like 5k at least. id, deal with the noise, but its way worse than the brembos with project mu, these just sound like my car is gonna fall apart... yes rally cars squeal, but i have leather seats and im slow...definitely doesnt qualify. haha. oh, and the groove isnt at the very bottom of the rotor, its toward the edge, but about an inch in. would a set of dba's help?

if your hawk pads aren't beveled (Bad spelling) that would cause them to squeal. i personally havn't had a problem with squealing on my hawk pads untill they were ready to be replaced.
