BOOOOO NFL, Truly ashamed.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/07/27/mic...ick/index.html

What a load of horse **** they feed all of us. Before the head of the NFL made it seem as if he had a 1% chance to every play again. Guess they don't care about bad publicity in this economy. The guy became rich and he continued to do horrible things. Does he really deserve another chance at becoming a sports hero? NOT IN MY OPINION!! he should feel lucky he is out of jail, and be forced to play football in a ghetto park, knowing he squelched and ruined an opportunity that few men get.

Better not bring him out her or ill egg him in the face.

You're acting like any US team will want to touch him for another 3 years...

actually hes prolly still only got a 1% chance of playing, the NFL is just saying that theyre going to allow him to play, that doesnt mean any team is going to sign him.
Not likely.

I don't know who will sign him but because they did this he can now play in Canada since the Canadian Football League doesn't allow suspended NFL players play in their league. But then again he will probably have a hard time getting a visa to play there anyways.

He'll play again. Somebody will take a chance on him. Good or Bad, publicity is publicity. If he does not end up in the NFL, maybe he goes to join J.P. Losman in that new UFL (United Football League).

true but they have too many QBs, mcfadden can run the wild cat and to top it off many of the executives in the raider organization are dog lovers.

IMO he did his time without protest, and if he's still up to par, someone will pay him to play.

I agree. I am a dog owner, but he was convicted and served time. Convicted felons are allowed to get a job again, so why should the NFL block his ability to work? He has lost many millions of dollars and will be forever known for this.

He did not rob, kill or rape any one.

Again, I am a dog owner and love my dog very much. But I find it funny that people target this while there are guys who commit far worst crimes to humans and people aren't all that upset.

Here is just one example:

Exactly, at least he has served his time in prison, most of the people I've seen playing in the NFL have done minimal if any prison time.

He paid his debt to society, right? Doesnt he deserve the chance to earn a living just like any other ex-con? And I dont recall ever hearing anything about him never playing in the NFL again. Also, Im sure he will be signed somewhere, Minnesota or Buffalo would be my guesses, before the middle of August.

He did his time, does he not deserve a second chance? Plus, what does playing in the NFL have to do with the crime he commited? Its just a job, that he was very good at. I think the additional 4 game suspension he just received is a slap in the face. He already did his time, why add on more now and not before when his punishments were dealt.

A lot of the executives love winning too, but that hasn't stopped them.
