Do you know of any other LS1 + 300ZX swaps?

I know the LS1 is a beast, but the VG30 can hold up to some abuse too. The thought of a 300V8 never really crossed my mind, even after drooling over the RX-7s that have done it.

Congrats to you and your crew! I'm going to go read the SCC article now.

i know of 2 other ls1 300s...the other two do not have the radiator in the stock location tho....we cut the tunnel and firewall to make the engine sit back far enuff to keep the radiator.

thanks!!! i have to say the car is scary....especially with cams, IM and the NOS... its soo fun to drive. i was driving it around in so cali on the street and the cops would just smile while i drove past. it get REALLY hot inside the car tho...deffinately not good for long drives!

The decemeber issue will have all the results of the tests i wishi could spill the beans on what it did....but were trying to bring it out to CMI this weekend if we have time to throw it on the dyno and make sure the a/f is good to go.

LS1 FDs are sooo fun...i will have another rx7...and i MIGHT do the ls1 swap...but to be honest im getting kinda of sick of seeing them now...so common.
