LAKE Show is in for a rough time regardless of whether Kobe stays. They'll definitely miss Shaq, but the big fella is on the decline. It's good that the LAKERS got some decent trade value out of him.
Oh well, guess we'll see who the REAL fans are now!

Yeah big changes in the offseason so far. Future doesnt look too bright for the Lakers if they cant hold onto Kobe. With grant and odom supporting him i think the lakers could still make it to the playoffs. Just can Malone and payton for players that arent out of their prime. Who are the lakers going to have as a big man? Dampier maybe Vlade? Also for the Kings webber is going to rehabilitate his knee and hes going to dominate again next season. His kind of injury takes 18 months to recover from. Cant wait...

lakers are not looking good. Only good thing they got out of that trade are stable back ups and a 1st rounder. Odom can score sometimes. With cobe and payton feeding him he might do pretty well.
But the lakers have Malone as a free agent...I'd rather have him that payton...I was a huge payton fan in seattle but he was a cancer last year. Fish is a free agent and with payton on the team takin his minutes he'll probably take off and get more money and more playing time somewhere else...like freaking cleveland or the knicks or something.
butler shows some promise at times but damn.....crazy thing is now the heat are probably hurting too. They are gonna have to get another player and I don't think they have the cap space.
I'd have to read up on all this stuff but the nba is gonna be crazy next year.
Without Shaq the lakers are the twolves. Without kobe and shaq...the lakers are the warriors but less fun to watch. New coach is gonna have to buck history and be really solid.
Clippers with kobe....still barely a playoff contenter. If kobe goes anywhere he'd be best on a team like the spurs....good big man decent point guard. I could see him going to the sixers..home town. Him and Iverson would be a crazy matchup..
But my big WTF? so far is cleveland not picking up carlos boozers option year? Stupid. That kid is good.
