Best way to kill spiders?
We had this happen in my bedroom. My gf was reading in bed. All of a sudden I hear her scream and the ceiling had little spiders running everywhere - no big one though. Anyway, being the tree-hugger that I am, I caught them all and dumped them outside. They were just regular spiders though.
The only black widow I have seen around my place was in my garage. I pulled out the trolley jack and the spider fell off as I was moving it.
A few years back I was helping a friend move a hot tub. The underside of that thing must have had 20 or 30 widows on it.

You are very environmentally friendly, i can tell since your sidebar under your screen name is so tidy and clean. No need to waste pixels for an avatar!

working in pest control, there are a few ways to kill spiders. spraying them with chemical doesn't always work as sometimes if they sense it they can hold their breath for over a day.also, since their legs are so long, they are suspended from the ground so their mouths may not come in contact to ingest.
easiest way is raid + lighter...if you dont have pest control. fire + poison!! 2 in 1 combo attack ahaha
spray their webs (sometimes they eat their web for energy if they can't catch anything)
stomp them: ensures death.
there's some other chemicals to use as well that work way well, but unless you have a hookup somewhere, you can't get them unless you are branch 1, 2, 3, or operator license issued by the state.

Is it actually safe to spray with a can and a lighter? I heard that the flame could travel fast enough to reach the tip of the can then the can can explode in ur face =p not a good situation
Yup, even if I had an avatar it would be all black to save power on crts

Actually, I'm not really a tree hugger, but I don't like to kill things or waste stuff unnecessarily. It doesn't stop me skiing or driving a WRX though so I'd never claim to be an environmentalist.
My avatarlessness dates back from when i-Club only gave avatars to the chosen ones. Sadly I wasn't worthy. I haven't got around to adding one since they changed the policy.
