Best way to kill spiders?

I got some huge colonies of spiders building up in my garage and they need to die.... like black widows need to die... is there a spray that any of you guys use that works well to kill spiders? SPIDERS specifically.

I don't think you can purchase a spray for spiders over the counter. Anything that is used to kill spiders is for professional companies.

If you have that big of an infestation, call a exterminator.

i googled and got "hot shot" or "black flag" that you can buy over the counter....but if you got a colony, then i say your safest bet will be exterminator

If you're renting you can have your landlord pay to have it sprayed. That's what we did. Helped a LOT. I'd be laying on the garage floor doing something on the car and look up and see a widow the size of my fist. THOUSANDS OF THEM at our place. We still have spider problems but it helped a lot and don't see many widows lately. Though I did put my hand on one when I grabbed my ramps. Got bit by one back in the day. Not the end of the world you'd think it is the way people talk. I was sick with fever a few days.

I'm more scared of the brown recluse.

I do this in the garage, shed and crawl space. I cover up the vents and set a few foggers.

In your situation, vacuum the spiders and colonies. Set the foggers.

Think Daniel has some killer pictures of his bite that I foresee ending up in this thread.

We're not suppose to have them here but I think they're around in some small areas. They're more of a desert deal and in the midwest. Responsible for a few deaths a year usually because of bites in just the right spots and people to stupid or too poor to do anything about it.

Shoot we have a GIANT rattle snake strolling around our house right now. My brother almost pissed on it.

ok so this is how i killed my spider problem. first you lure out the spider with a twig, then when it shows itself get a broom to knock it down and spray some carb cleaner/ brake cleaner and light em on fire. =]

oh btw, its best to make designs with the carb cleaner(like spell your initials or make a star shape to impress your friends)
