Best Tuner in Bay Area?

Guys, I have a Stg 2 Sti and was wondering who does the best Protune around here. I use Cobb AP. I've never had a car tuned before so any info would help including typical prices for the various tuners, good/bad results, etc. Thanks!

EQ Tuning all the way.
Ed is very knowledgable, is purely focused on tuning.

Plus he will soon be joining forces with Crucial Racing Systems. Top quality parts for your ride, top quality tuning along with it.

you will get alot of biased opinions when asking this question, everyone will tell you to go to where they got their car tuned my advise is go to some shops meet some ppl and get a feel for what thier attitudes are. ie: if you feel like your gonna be taken car of more at one shop than another then by all means go to the one you have a better feeling about.

i wont personally say who's the best, as i'm unable to make that decision. But the reputable tuners around here are GST, and EQ tuning. I've personally been tuned by mike @ GST and ran problem free for over a year on the Cobb AP.

Very true. Do the proper research, call and/or talk face to face to them, tell them your goals/mods and see what they are best at.

I would still say you can't go wrong with either

I think we are lucky enough in the bay area to have such fine tuners, I wouldnt bother debating who is "best"

Well, it looks like Gruppe-s and EQ it is then. Flip a coin and get it done already!

Worm, this has got to be the most intelligent thing you have posted. At least that I have read. There's hope.

Me too, for reasons I will not comment about. Both are great to work with. You can't go wrong either way. The only gripe I had with Ed, was... All the way to Davis, a whole lot of time in the car, then all the way home. It sucked. Ed is good though.
