I like my Nitto NT-450's, they seem to be a pretty good all season tire.

i have falken azeni's and love them when it's dry but in the rain..... well they grip alright in the wet but recently i was in a turn while it was raining and in the middle i hit a bump and the car started to slide. Luckly it was at the end of the turn and i still stayed in my lane. So if it wasnt for the bump it would have been fine but since its starting to rain alot now i would get something that performs well in the wet.

ES-100's are [retty damn good if you know how to drive correctly

But yeah, they are cheap, and about 10x better than any khumo. I don't care what the ratings say, Kuhmos SUCK ***.

S03's are better though.

wow...daniel's frisky...damn, this whole time I THOUGHT I knew how to drive...heh

ES-100s aren't pretty damn good tires, they're a pretty damn good deal, and are decent in the rain.

I paid $70/tire for my stock size replacement ES's, inc. mounting, installation, and lifetime balance.

My tires (albeit with high sidewalls and all) just aren't capable of truly high levels of grip:

You simply aren't paying for it, they have soft sidewalls...

They kind've remind me of the Bridgestone RE-730s, Z-rated tires that aren't all-out performers.

Really good tires:

BFG Old-school R1s
BFG KDWs
Pilot Sport
Pilot Sport Cup
Potenza S03s

no offense, kuhmos supras r good enough if u dont "drive" ur car. other wise, the 712 is piece of sh*t. the worst tires i would get r the ES100, or if u wanna stay low on budget and have decent performance, try the kuhmo MX.

for example, i could take a turn with Azenis at close to 80mph, and still be very stable. then when i changed to the kuhmo 712s, at 65-70mph on the very same turn the tires r already at the edge of loosing traction. thats the difference between good tires and ok tires. with that said, i still like SO3/SO2 better than the Azenis.

I was just kidding around with you. Weird that you say they have soft sidewalls... they are stiffer than SO3 sidewalls... Yoko is actually known for having stiff sidewalls. Must be your side dude. I have 215/45/17 and they are great. Same level of grip as the AVS Intermediates if not more.
