best place to repaint front lip?

Which shop has given you guys the best paint job for your front lip? I want a place that uses multiple clearcoats to hinder rock chipping. my front lip is more rock chipped than my bumper and hood and they are already pretty bad. lip is about 1 1/2 yrs old with normal freeway driving.

im gonna have them fix a crack on my wrb sti v1 replica too. any suggestions?

piling on the clear isn't really going to do much to prevent rock chips. if you do a lot of highway driving or frequently roll through spots w/debris, you should probably clear bra the lip & any other parts/panels you want protected.....pay now or pay later.

i would clear bra the lip if they made one that fits. i don't really wanna cut and fit a sheet of the clear bra because i probably won't do a good job. I dont know... well there has to be shops that are better than others...

if you dont want rock chips stay AWAY from CK

they have VERY thin coats of paint and stuff chips VERY easily painted from them

the only thing they do well are sideskirts

of course there are shops & paint jobs that are better quality than others, but my point is that there really isn't much you can do to prevent rocks chips from normal driving.

aside from limiting your highway driving, going w/a layer of clear bra is the only way you're really going to avoid getting your lip chipped up.

I just bought some Suby touch-up paint for my front lip... it gets scraped so much that i don't figure a repaint is worth it. So far, going over the spots to touch it up looks decent enough.

Any recommendations then? I'm looking to get my front splitters and my hoodscoop painted.

If you get the basecoat (just the color, no clearcoat) I'll paint the splitters and hoodscoop for $100.......
