Has anyone ever repainted thier front bumper? Any idea how much it would cost? Or recommend a great shop in the east bay?

Where did you have it done? Did they do a good job? Would you recommend them?

I had it done @ Camacho Autobody in Eureka and if you are close I highly recommend them.

you're assuming you and Matt (the OP) have the same shade of silver.

If shade wasn't an issue, I'd have some stuff done to at a group spray

Well, a group spray could be arranged, but I can only do two front bumpers at a time over a weekend.. Price would be $500 for 02-05 and $400 for 06/07.

There is so much prepping involved..

All work performed in an auto body shop during weekends as sidejobs only as it's my hobby..

Never had my front bumper painted (yet), but a place in San Jose by the airport called "Auto Exact" painted my rear 06 bumper PSM for 250 --including fixing a 7 inch crease on it. It came out real well.

If you're in the area, look them up and talk to Henry.

Silver is very hard to match. The paint shop dies the best they can and I am ok with it. It is close enough. $500 for a front bumper, OUCH! seriously that is so expensive, the work would have to be perfect. I got my rear bumper and front w/splitters last time plus painting the custom grill for $400 about 6 months ago. Right after it was painted someone hit the front and cracked the pait pretty bad. I have hairline cracks (about 6-7) that run about 1.5ft on the front top of my bumper. Time to shell out another $200.

btw I always bring my bumper off to the body shop and put the bumper back on myself. So maybe because I do a lot of the labor is why mine are so cheap. I mean I think my paint looks pretty good.
