Good place for a complete repaint/color change?

ok, so, I've got a 2006 Audi A3 3.2Liter Quattro here in Brilliant Red (it's actually a really nice bright red and I *do not* like red much on cars).

Anyhow, it's cosmetically challenged. Which is sad for a $40000+ car (it's loaded) that someone paid for it a year ago.

So, what I'm thinking is this... I'd love to see one of these painted that darker flat(ish) gray that the Audi TT's came in... anyone got a good shop that can do a complete color change? Doors but not engine bay?

A really good buddy of mine is getting back into paint/body work. He can do full paint and custom jobs. I can get you his info if you want. He just finished up a 32 coupe. That was pretty damn sick.

Hello,
My buddy and I can do that color change for you. We work out Palo Alto. We have done some cars for I-Clubbers, and we have not received complaints just great smiles. For a color change we could do it for $3800, if the car is clean. $4500 if it has any door dings or dents..

The only dings are on the doors and they're bad. I'm actually considering replacing the doors completely before doing the color change to avoid having body work done. I've located a couple of cars that are the same color as the one I've got now that will be going up for auction.

I'll certainly keep you guys in mind. If I wind up not being able to sell this car I *may* go that route...

Thanks!

I'll take some pictures of the doors but I'd rather not have Bondo on the car... if it can be helped.
