is this the best option for adding audio aux in?

So where did you decide to route it?

So the board gets hooked up somewhere near or in the radio and you route the line to somewhere that you want to plug your mp3 player in? Yeah I think somewhere around the ash tray would be good.

i just placed the order for this little jazzy thing. and yeah i agree some place around the ash tray would be good. I may drill a hole in my actual ash tray.
my last car i built the radar detecter inside the ashtray.

i routed it along the center console towards the armrest. the wire routes down right below the cup holders and my ipod sits in my cup holder. it works well enough for me.
