If you're referring to the steep dropoff after 7000 rpm, that was when the test ended. It can look like that at any rpm if you get off the throttle or kill the engine.

Sorry, Yes you took me to look for a panel air filter and some circlips...thanks...didn't realize we were talking about old news.

Okay got it, someone posted about tuners and then everyone chimed in and I wasn't paying attention.

Most STI graphs have an early torque peak and then gradually slope down as the turbo runs out of breath. You can get the torque to be flat, but then you will be missing out on some torque on the low end. The peak HP number on this car is lacking a bit, but note that most of the peak hp is available as low as 5500RPM... which makes for a great power band for backroad driving .
That being said, this was my first Subaru tune and I've learned quite a bit since. Check out some of my more recent results and reviews for a better representation of my work.
