I had really lousy luck with AT&T. Terrible customer service, they would randomly turn my phone off, no reception in Kansas City (I was doing a lot of business there). I spent two or three hours on the phone with these clowns every month...

Verizon coverage and customer service rocks!
Verizon is the only provider I've ever had because nobody I know with any other service has coverage as good as mine. The first time I was in Willows at Thunderhill I was the ONLY person in my group to have coverage. I was the only person with Verizon. I've never EVER been anywhere where somebody with a different service had coverage and I didn't. On the down side, I've loaned my phone to somebody on quite a few occassions when I had coverage and they didn't. On more than one occassion, Verizon customer service has actually contacted ME to offer me a plan more suited to my needs. They've called me to offer me a better plan with more free minutes and nothing lacking when compared to my existing plan and the new plan cost less than my existing plan. Only company I know that contacted me to offere me more than they already were at a lower price.
When I got my wife a phone, they supposedly signed me up for the family plan, but the sales person screwed up. I didn't notice for months (don't always pay as much attention to bills as I should). When I finally called to ask why my bill was higher than expected, they not only switched me to the family plan, but retroed it back to when I first added my wife and gave me a refund of the difference, and it was the customer service rep's idea, not mine.

I'm with Verizon and the coverage is great. I'm shopping around for a new plan as I could use more peak minutes but unfortunately if I cancel my current plan "PEAK" runs through 9 PM where right now it currently ends at 7 PM. 7 PM allows me to call my friends on the east coast while they are still awake and not dig into my peak minutes. Ho Hum.

Motorola v60i
Is anyone using the Motorola v60i? It's NOT color which I like... a phone is meant for talking, not for looking! I'd rather have my battery power going towards talking.
How's the reception? Not all wireless phones are created equal. I know I've been in situations with a friend that's had the same service but they don't get as good of a connection as I do with my trusty 2 year old Audiovox. How's the sound quality? I know that the sound quality on every Moto Star Tac that I've heard has sounded like dog meat. Has Moto improved in that area?
Cheers, Joe
