usually, i went to taqueria los gallos in hayward where the albertsons was. The seasoned, stewed chicken meat was really good inside the super burrito with the beans, pico, guac, cheese, rice, *drool*... Haven't found a place in socal yet that matches that one.
EDIT - Forgot to say that this was the one in Fairway park on Mission Blvd.

Taqueria La Cumbre in San Mateo next to the 1st ave CalTrain station is my personal favorite.
I also used to like Senor Taco on El Camino in Palo Alto, now I hear its something else and better, but I havent been there in a while.

la bamba in mtn view is the best I'd have to say...they've won 'best burrito' from city of mtn view and palo alto many many times...carnitas is the bomb...probably eat here once a week
I'll also throw up Tres Hermanos off of shoreline just north of Central Expy...fatty burrito that never dissapoints...just be ready for a lot of food. I eat here probably every other week
la costena right next door to la bamba is good, but not as good as la bamba

La Costena won best burrito in mt view 9 years in a row.
La Bamba has won best taqueria or something like that. they can't share the same award, and La Costena has the plaques and banners to prove it.

Haha, just say "regular pollo"? Cuz on every menu (I looked it up for you BTW cuz I was curious myself), it says "pollo" for the plain chicken and "pollo asado" for the grilled.
