Best Burritos in the Bay?
Taq. San Jose on 35th and International in Oakland... right next to fruitvale bart station...
Very reasonable prices
Huge quantities
Extremely delicious
Free chips and 2 kinds of salsa
the taco trucks on international are also good... i recommend the one on 42nd and international.

LOL @ CHipotle...white rice and F'n yellow corn?! talk about filler...not to mention it tasted like something you throw together with leftovers while drunk.
La Costena? i've always heard it was good, last time i was there a few years ago and didnt look too appetizing.
Now i gotta go back.

If you guys are ever in San Leandro. Taqueria Guadalajara in this Mexican strip mall off E.14th and the newly opened El Gordo in the Pak n' Save shopping center off Washington Ave. are my spots. I always order the wet burrito (with melted cheese and green or red sauce on top). Los Gallos in Newark made a pretty good wet burrito too. I used to eat there all the time when I meet up with my Fremont buddies (or after UCKK with Ave and some others a couple years back).
My favs:
SF:
El Faralito on 24th and Mission, also open till 3am which is nice.
Balazo in the Haight is AWESOME, just awesome.
Peninsula:
Taqeria El Metate is hands down my favorite taqueria in the Bay for 11 years now - on Harbor in Belmont right off of 101. Your mileage may vary, but this place rocks.
I work in Sunnyvale, and our office used to be at Leghorn and Rengstorff in Mtv. View, so we have some strong MV burrito opinions in here. There is a solid concentration of taquerias at that intersection there, so it's tough to know what to do. LOS ALTOS TAQUERIA is the winner from this group. Try the Super Suiza Quesadilla!
Also, another old favorite of mine is Eduardo's behind McDonalds on Winchester near Hamilton. Awesome carne asada...
People that either consider Chipotle a "taqueria" or compare it to taquerias need to stop doing that. I like Chipotle, but it's not a taqueria. I like it because the Carnitas on top the rice reminds me of Kalua Pork from back home... Haha...
