I feel this fight was a joke. I understand that Pacman is fast, strong and a very good boxer, but DLH shouldn't have gone down that easy (even with his "older age"). If anything it looked like he threw the fight. DLH hardly followed through when he got Manny off guard, let alone looking like he stopped his punches a few cm before hitting Manny.

DLH isn't too old, or too slow... he's just way too much suck

Manny should fight Hatton, will probably beat him, and then I'm sure Mayweather's ginormous ego won't stop him from getting back in the ring to prove some point, and I hope pacman takes a win there too. That will solidify him as #1 with zero arguments, but I see him as #1 since about 2 fights ago.

What do you mean not in a million years? Everyone I know, boxing fans, called this fight for Pac. Oscar gave a show for the promo biz, then took a seat when he had enough. The biggest probelm with this fight was there was only one contender who had something to loose. Boxing is BS.
What I mean is that the hardcore fans were flaming all around that "only fake/casual boxing fans who never boxed would root for pacquiao, this is just a freakshow to the guys who really know boxing"
Of course, the pundits and fighters turned out to be wrong. Just LOOK AT THIS if you need further proof:
Bernard Hopkins - Oscar Dela Hoya WILL NOT LOSE to Manny Pacquiao = FAIL
Kevin Iole (Yahoo Sports) - The only way Pacquiao stops Dela Hoya is if he brings a gun to the ring with him = FAIL
Nate Campbell (IBF, WBA, IBO LW Champion) - If this fight goes over round 4, the fix is in. = FAIL
Floyd Mayweather Sr - Oscar's gonna beat the dog **** out of Pacquiao = FAIL
Thiago Alves (UFC WW Contender) - Oscar Dela Hoya round 8 TKO = FAIL
Din Thomas (UFC Veteran) - Dela Hoya by beatdown, he's too big and skilled of a boxer = FAIL
Rashad Evans (UFC LHW Contender) - I like Pacquiao, but the size is going to be too much. Dela Hoya is going to off set Pac's quick combos by sticking a jab to his face.
Obviously I was wrong on pac v. DLH, but one big reason is because DLH didn't come out the way people predicted he would.
Mayweather's gonna do the same thing JMM did to Pac, and the same thing Morales did to Pac in their first fight - take away surfaces to hit. Mayweather also controls space ultra well. He won't stand there and let you bang. He's in the clinch or he's out of range.
These two attributes make Mayweather a tactical nightmare for any aggressive fighters. Mayweather's a genius at using the rules of boxing
The best Mayweather vs. Pac = Mayweather takes it.
Question is, if Mayweather comes out of retirement - does the best Mayweather show up?

The mexican assassin destroys another again..Morales(2x), Diaz, Marquez, Larios, Barerra, De La Hoya ..who's next? I bet Floyd is thinking bout coming out of retirement, once the price is right and talk starts to arise about Manny givin him a run for his money.
