It is kind of a bummer, but at the same time I get it.
There are irresponsible owners who ruin it for the responsible ones. I would guess they've had issues in the past with people not picking up after the dogs.

We want to have a really solid relationship with SOA. They are always really happy when they show up so I'd like to get more dialog going with them.

Trust me, I'd love to have dogs. We've asked. We tried.
Unfortunately it's out of our hands. We have insurance and things like that but it's the site's rules and we have to obey them. It's no fault of any person or any dog owner. But I can also see why it's not the best idea given the event and it's location.
I've got 2 dogs myself. I get wanting the dogs there. I hope this one rule doesn't keep you away as it's a great event and still very family friendly.

Yeah we've had big conversations around resolving this "issue" LOL.
We'll have a post on I-club and on Facebook expanding on this so folks are away of the changes being made. I personally think they're all great changes.

Starting to announce on-site vendors and a raffle prize here or there. Got some new ones on board and a few of the old guard. Unfortunately a few of the old guard are also not able to make it.
But good things happening so far.
