I hope it gets cheaper over the next few years since I'm free from payments for my STI and I'm in the market for a house. Just gotta fight the feeling of needing to buy parts

I love when the prices of houses fall, buy them when they are cheep then rent them out. I just put a bid on a house in san jose today.
You also have to look at the us economy. With AIG needing 85 billion dollars from the government to salavge what's left. Government will print more money, which will drive down the value of the dollar, thus making everything more expansive. So it'll counter balance a little bit.
