Skizz, do you want us to bring our own tools for grilling and cutting? Also do we need grills or is that going to be already covered?

There's some Gagan (iirc) may have from last year, as may Skizz, but if you have your own set, it wouldn't hurt.

There are BBQs as is at the park too.

 

I will be bringing my own. if you have some please bring them. the coals get hot when we get rocking so the longer the tongs the better and if you have a long spatula that's really handy.

 

If some of the grill peeps could show up around 830 or 9 that would be great. We can start prepping and setting up.

 

I'll be in with some of the car show people at 9:30, and will have a pow wow with my kleen kids at 10:30, then back to grilling/prep.

I got her down for food service as of yesterday, if she makes it early enough and wants to help with check in I am totally okay with that!

 

We need radios. Any of you volunteers that have them... bring them. Mine are all up at the cabin. Grrrrrrtastick.

+1 to that! Thanks to the crazy Russian we got things going pretty fast. Was great afternoon grilling.

 

I want to just say THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered and everyone who stepped up last minute to help out.
Food went extremely well and it's all because of the team who came together to help out. Shout out to Mike (mahanse) for helping tackle the food prep and organizing.

I apologize for not being super enthusiastic towards the end of the day, I was exceptionally exhausted. .just want to try to express my gratitude for everyone who helped out at this event!

Hope to see everyone next year, if not sooner!!

 

BAM 2015 was my first time with you Subies. Observing the harmony of the teamwork created by the efficient planning was indeed impressive. I especially enjoyed meeting beLittled (Caitlyn) and working on her team. Why is it when I am trying to lose a few pounds I am allowed TWO cheeseburgers? And don't even mention the donuts! Thank you again to ALL of the volunteers! Everyone stepped up huge again this year. We really appreciate all of the help and support to run this event. Without the Volunteer Crew we really wouldn't be able to have BAM each year. Thanks for making this our largest and quite possibly the smoothest run event yet.
