BAM = awesome...thanks Daniel
Great day Danny, those ribs and chicken were awesome.
Glad to hear we raised some good coin for the dogs and cats.
Can't wait for BAM X
And Paul.....nice touch with the assault rifle mount in your fozzy
I think a lot of people were shocked to see an assault rifle as part of the car show!

I sort of kept a random tally based on the number of tickets sold and I thought it would be in the 2000 to 2500 dollar range. Daniel posted in another thread that it was something around 2000.
There was some problem with people paying, some saying they were with vendors and others just took advantage through just flying a bit under the radar. There was enough things going on that it was hard to enforce completely. People will always be trying to take advantage. It's just a shame they decided to do it at a fundraising event.
I think I probably dropped the ball a bit with the volunteer organization, but I want to really thank those that were there. Josh, Gus, Mark and (oh **** I forgot names don't kill me) the other volunters were really great, they didn't just do the jobs they signed up to help with they did anything needed of them. If I'm enlisted to help next year I could defiantly think of a few things to do to keep security much tighter.

Imho, it was way too warm out during the heart of the meet to do more than eat & hang out. 'Twas much more comfy in the late afternoon hours. As posted in the BAM sucked (
) thread, a few of us closed out the place...even tossed the frisbee around for a while.In re: to clean-up, all attendants did a great job of taking care of their own trash that there was practically ZERO need to pick up after everyone. I took care of a bit here & there, but a real non-issue. The park staff did a great job of coming thru regularly to haul away our trash & recylcing and leave us w/ empty bins.
Good job to all who contributed to making BAM 9 as fun & entertaining as it was!

In addition to "No $$$, no food" should be no pay "no entry/get kicked out if found without a wrist band or lack of proof" as it was a private event in which Daniel had to front some cash just to reserve the space.
Maybe next time we can have the table facing perpendicular to the bridge too!
