headed to the giants game today and wanted to get some suggestion of good bars =$ selection= in and around the area to hit up

we have some dodger fans so we also need A FRIENDLY place to hang out pre-game and get wasted.

 

You want a friendly place around the ball park for Dodger fans? Doesnt exist, sorry.

I like to go to Red's Java Hut. Good burgers, cheap beers, outside seating never too crowded.

 

Pete's Tavern or Momo's. Both owned by teh same guy adn I know the GM there. Good group of guys and a great vibe.

Tres Agaves is also right there and is a tequila bar. Friendly people and I know the owner. Great group of people who are always willing to share some tequila or advice on drinks...

All of these places get VERY crowded, though.

 

Momo's sucks, weak overpriced drinks. O'Neill's is pretty good too, I think thats on 4th and King. If you dont mind a bit of a walk to the park, Perry's on Embarcadero is always good too, they have a very good happy hour.
