Thanks. I work construction actually. and right now people just dont think its a great idea to spend $50,000 on a new bathroom or kitchen. The boss said maybe in a few months there will be some work.
At least I made my car payment. I havent told my wife yet. I just bought our sons halloween costume too, i kow if i tell her she will want me to take it back to the store.
Should i tell her now or wait til the end of the weekend. thats what I am pondering.

What pisses me off more is that i was told there was gonna be work no prob. Or i would have planned something. But the boss wasnt thinking i guess.
We have a little saved up. It just sucks with the holidays being around the corner.
Thast why i love i-club. the people actually give a **** and at least listen if they cant help. not like nabisco or clubwrx

Yeah if she is at work right now don't tell her till she comes home. Try and just think positive and head up. Start looking right away for new work and if you can receive unemployment and eligible don't pass it up if a job hasn't come around.
I have to say we are more friendly here because most of us have met one another at meets one time or another. Some people at other forums act behind a keyboard and never meet up with each other.

sorry to hear about the loss of job. The economy is in the ****ter, it's gonna be tough. Maybe you should just look for a mall job or something to tie you over till next year. Hopefully, the economy will get a wee better after the election (probably not -_-). Best of luck to ya.
