i too would like to know about the negativity towards rotora...
they seem to have worked fine thus far for me at the track.
of course, i have not tried stoptech's or wilwood's, but have heard wilwood's do need to be rebuilt more often than the rest.
i would say rotora's are similar to taiwanese made brembo's
compared to ss lines, with powerstop rotors, motul rbf 600, and axxis ultimate pads, the rotora's have stopped my car more effectively. if you would like to see them, or test them out, please feel free to drop me a line

babysmurf when you were running the powerstop rotors, lines and pads how did that work out for you, looking at doing stailess lines all the way around slotted rotors and pads or wilwood fronts...

the stopping power of lines, new rotors, and pads was pretty good. i never had any issues with it, and i felt it stopped me just fine at the track. i upgraded to bigger brakes tho because my biggest problem was that i chewed through things too quickly. (2mths at most for pads and rotors), and i decided the end cost of continually replacing those parts would be more than the big brake kit upgrade and only occasionally replacing things.
now i only have the problem of boiling brake fluid
are u planning on tracking your car? or just driving aggressively sometimes on the streets? i would say slotted rotors, lines, pads, and fluid should be good

I'm looking at the Stoptech Stage 2 setup vrs. other kit options available from our local vendors. I'm guessing the Stoptech Stage 2 setup will be the most balanced kit available and proven together as a system.
I might save some money if I throw together a set of 4 aftermarket slotted rotors (Centric HPS, Racing Brake, etc) , pads (axxis, Porterfield, Hawk, , and stainless lines but might end up with a poor combo for street/spirited performance.
Thoughts on the Stoptech Stage 2 option vrs a build-your-own-kit?
Thanks,
Steve

rotora is relatively new company. it is doing well cuz they have sponsored cars in d1gp. stoptech are good.. the wilwood dont have dust sheild for the pistons or something... so it collects a lot of dirt. they are used mainly for track use have to be cleaned/rebuilt often. i have heard people running the wilwood on the street fine.. and im sure they work fine. but their original design was mainly for track use and so may not be as reliable as the stoptech.
dont u have fancy brakes on ur car already chris?
