Bah...another dead STI (soon)

I just had a kid on my bike forum ask this question...

I need tips on driving a stick. I'm getting my first stick car and it's an STI.

I called dibs on his headlights and brembos. the rest you guys can fight over.

I'll let you know when he kills it.

Damn people getting sti's for their first sticks..boooooooo.

Life sucks when you have to buy your own ****!

Maybe we can hook him up with that other Sti kid to show him how to do 7k drops and destroy his tranny.

that's not exactly an STI.

I learned quickly as well but I didn't learn on a 300hp AWD car.

And it's not like he's been driving for years and is just now learning stick. he's young.

I told him to go borrow and old bug or civic to learn on.

so true. getting that rush from the acceleration will get you into trouble if you're not familiar with driving stick. i just hope he has enough self control...

I learned on a POS old maxima. As much as I would have loved to own a powerful car back then, It wouldn't have been smart.

Since we're calling dibs on his stuff, I want the interior!

haaaa. Honda transmissions are very well built. I had over 90k on my civic, stock clutch. Modified car. Much much hard driving. Tought 3 or 4 people how to drive stick on it..at least.

My girlfriend had it for a week. When I got it back I had to put a new clutch and transmission in. Luckily I already had an extra tranny. Sold it shortly after.

she's never driven my WRX. haa.
