The BC Legacy that the rally car was based on was the Legacy RS, not the GT. The GT came about with the BD/BG Legacy in '96 IIRC. Still one of my favorite Subarus, though I may be somewhat biased because my first car was a '93 Legacy Turbo Wagon that I picked up in '96.
