like i said, i've been lazy. LOL and had things come up on some of those auto x days.

 

**** it im going, rallyx in vallejo got cancelled, i need to try out one of these

 

you guys realize this is the SJGP weekend?! who schedules an autocross for this day? Thats as bad as scheduling an Altamont oval race the same day as nascar 500...no one would go!

if i get to go to the SJGP Fri and Saturday, and i get enough pics, then maybe i'll go to the autoX, but that sucks to have to make that desicion.

Plus i already was a guest at Marina SCCA...can i be a guest twice?

 

The answer would be no... but who would know?

 

well seeing that they have a fricken bar code for each car, im sure some how some way some one would figure out ive been a guest twice lol

 

Yeah. You should just get a membership. $40 and you get a magazine subscription and -$10 at each event.

Why do we schedule the same weekend at th SJGP??

Because they can lick our *****...

The first year they did it, WE, the SCCA, freaking ran the whole thing, race control plus everything else and fronted over 230 volunteers. The next year were not ased back in a big role other than flagging and race control. I volunteered anyways because the first year was awesome. Well, it sucked, and they treated volunteers like ****.

So SCCA, well most SCCA members in our area, won't be supporting them, and won't be going. So this year we scheduled one on the same date because there is still going to be a good amount of people going to the autox.

 

oh ok...yeah thats true. the only reason i'm dieing to go to SJGP is to get some action pictures with my new camera and hear the engines echo and blow my ears up walking over the bridge.

id rather watch the race on a TV screen some other time.

So if i go on Fri, and Sat i might make this autoX since you have a large guest allowance.

 

so i become a member online and bring the print out to the autoX?

And where can i find the past results for the RallyXs i did? since SFRSCCA.ORG changed to .COM because the links are 404 not found now, are they archived anywhere? i hope so.

Im 70/30 for sunday. Auto-x all day in marina with GGLC, so prob 8+ runs for me and someone is co-driving my car in exchange for some pads and instruction. So yeah, hopefully my tires arent shot by sunday. And I have a clubbin outting saturday night and SJGP sunday afternoon

 

EXACTLY why I didn't go last year and am not this year. First year was cool when we were there working. That was memorable to me, the sound and ambiance,etc. etc.

well i didnt bother with them, because my illegal version of Premiere doesnt let me output to anything anymore...so theres no motivation to even put the video on my computer...not to mention the whole rallyX videographer ordeal...pfff...
