Kevin just bring the cat back to Davis with you. I did that with my Aunt's chocolate lab (brought it back and forth for dialysis)

So... kind of got an update.

The vet doesn't know what's wrong.

It is looking like $300 for an utlrasound and $1k+ for surgery.
