AUDT: Gran Turismo Lap Times

i tried using the GC in the beginning then i went to the GD, and OMG it was so easy to change directions.

Exactly... I still have a GC STI wagon that I played with. It fast but its a ***** to drive and usually not too much fun. The GD is just more neutral and compliant.
you know, i haven't been changing the settings much. just the basics, lower car, stiffen suspension, full downforce f/r, a little more front brake bias, and adjust gear ratios according to top speed for the track.

I start with one of the "original" suspension kits, increase front camber a bit, stiffen up the rear sway, turn off all the driving aids, and adjust gearing appropriately. Haven't really played with the setup much yet.

shaving 7 seconds off the ring is the same as shaving .100 off of each turn...ooooor not crashing haha. i cant get thru it without crashing, or at least going onto the grass
i was taking that stupid license test at nurburgring...i forgot the exact number but i was off by 0.x seconds. boy was i pissed! i just remember i started cussing, "YOU GOTTA BE *@(#&#*$ KIDDING ME."
As far as gearing, I just change the number at the bottom. For example, when I drive The Ring in my STi Ver VIII, it's set at 15. No need to fiddle with individual gears.

Not a fan of the "original" suspension...I like having the option of full ajustability. Now the "original" turbos...that's another story

The original turbo's are the way to go for sure

So... I guess we pretty much agree that the Spec C and the 22B are okay to use right? I kind of want to see other cars in the line-up though. All I see is the Spec C on the podiums.
There's plenty of adjustability in the original suspensions... just as much as in anything else I believe. The difference is that it comes set up better out of the box than the full adjustable race setup. At least that's my take on it.
