the problem with my times is i wont stop lapping until i get best time, i COULD do the other courses but it would take me FOREVER!

so i have to force myself to do 5-10 laps each course and post my time, wether it good or bad

OR we can do something like no points towards driver standing unless we have minimum x number of records per track. that way things would look a bit more even. How is that?

But for now, we can always just look at track record. i mean when Kev first started, he just wanted to do one track and production cars only. Now we have multiple tracks, driver standing, behind the leaders, blah blah blah... It's definitely getting more interesting for sure.

Not really sure what else we could do

Yeah for my Ring time, that was just the second lap. After 14 min, I just got tired.

I am King on Apricott Hill, Citta di Aria, Fuji 80's, Hong Kong, SS5, Midfield, and Tokyo. Someone new, shut me up!!

But seriously, we have 10 or 15 tracks with times right now. There is still 30 or 40 courses left. I haven't seen any rally times or anything. Don't be shy. Set the standard for other people to beat.

Do we really want reverse tracks? That is going to be HUGE! and the driver standing section will be crazy too!

I think you just list the drivers and their total points instead of all that other stuff. Maybe sort out the name list by point value rather than by name. But other than that. Looks good. And yes... should do reverse.

got the idea from the swrt.com site... http://www.swrt.com/championship/driver_standings.html

I thin it would be cool to list them all out, that way people can see where the leaders are getting their points from.

yeah, sort by point is already on my todo list ^above.

we need to come up with a number of records per track to consider for points. Once we have that, I can do this to minimize confusion...
1. give pt to drivers only when track records meets the minimum (I am thinking 6)
2. remove the pt/track column in driver standing if no one has added any record time to the track at all.

this way the driver standing should be accurate and clean for display. °oO(yeah, I think I am going to go with the 6 driver minimum for points kind of thing). This way it will prevent driver from hogging points by simply racing on empty record tracks. )

8. Driver Standings: Sort by pt
9. Driver Standings: Add minimum track record (6) before giving out points to drivers
