Audi TT S-Model
according to clarkson the enzo will roast a clutch with the launches . . . and yes, DSG > SMG, two clutches are always better than one
edit: FWIW I drove a 330ci SMG, I thought it was harder to drive than the same car with a DIY manual

Your statement made it seem like you didn't know. Saying that it isn't your run of the mill slushbox implies that it is a slushbox, just of a different breed; which it isn't . Chill the f*** out. The info posted wasn't just for you. I'm willing to bet that at least one person didn't know what it was and learned via the link provided.-Chris

You COULD call it an automatic, because it will shift automatically - however slushbox doesn't work for this, you might as well call it a lollipop and get pissy when people correct you. Chris - it doesn't depend on anyone's mis-interpretation of the term, 'slush' denotes the fluid coupling and the indirect connection, delay, lack of response - all those things which are party to a transmission using a torque converter. Thus a transmission without a torque converter should not be referred to in any way with the word slush. As you were saying.

That's something you and I can agree on. I've driven an e36 M# with and without the SMG system and really ejoyed the standard manual quite a bit more. Theoretically the SMG is faster, but it doesn't have the romance associated with a good 'ol stick shift.
Thanks for the support wombatsauce.
