That would be the case if they are same can of coke. But in this case, they are not. Come on Zoeb, your car is slow. You should be the last one to point fingers at any potential "rip off"

Is my car really slow?...you can't judge too much just by 1 video....

Now lets get something straight here...I wasn't pointing fingers at your tuning, as I know your hourly rate is ~ the same as other tuners, maybe a little higher, but not by much I don't why you're getting defensive about that.

The only thing I was refering to was your "signature" exhaust system, why is not gonna make a car "fast" or "slow"...its just a cat-back.

If 1 store is selling Safeway Select Cola for $1.19 and the other is selling Coke for $3.49 chances are you will go for the Safeway Select...its a little different, but for the most part is pretty similar, and thats how your exhaust compares to others...

Who's getting defensive big guy? BTW, our sig exhaust is a full turbo-back, not a cat-back. If you ever saw it and the amount of work that goes into making one, you may actually find the price to be reasonable. But if you don't, that's okay too. If you think its comparable to any other exhaust in the market, i'm sorry. If you know of any other turboback that behaves much like a cat-less exhaust under WOT and a clean, closed coupled catted exhaust during cruise, let me know....

I know 4 people that drink Safeway Cola.

To be different, people drink Pepsi and not some funky wannabe Cola.

Now if you are talking about price difference, sure, it is understandable, but that is why you have less expensive choices. Even Vishnu offers a less expensive exhaust system.

People don't buy cheap stuff to be different. People buy what they can afford. Just FYI, for example, ARC titanium exhaust system will run you close to $3,000. Just a cat back. I am yet to see one person with it. That would be different.

---

If your theory was right, then people that can afford Porsches, would drive cars imported from Russia that were made recycled tanks, cost like $2,000 and give you radiation sickness within 2 hours just to be different.

P.S. I am just talking in general, as I don't agree with Zoeb's observations on Cola's . I am not talking about anyones exhausts, tuning or anything else. Just Zoeb and his Colas.

Hi Everyone,

I am not sure how everything got stirred up but it did.

About the track event held back a while ago. I personally was not happy about the track day though never spoke about it to anyone except Alex and Chris. I-Speed USA (and many other vendors) spent a lot of time, energy, money to prepare for the event, which we expected to be pretty kick ***. When we showed up some things were not running as well as we hoped and as the event progressed nothing seemed to turn out the way we were told. So we were pretty bummed out about the whole event when it ended.

After the event we spoke with other vendors/customers and most poeple seemed pretty bummed about it (we were not the only party), as they also spent a lot of thier time/money/energy preparing for the event to see it only fall apart. We were told about the many events, tuner shootout, the meatball challenge and we were ready to rumble, though none of them ever happened.

There were some kick *** cars there ready for the shootout, including S-Squared with it kick *** Turbo'ed RS, World One, LIC Motorsports with Adam's Black Conversion / Andrew's Blur RS-WRX, SubyDude's 2.5 "STi" (love how that was incorrectly printed in the Japanese magazine), my little X-Wing and a few others (sorry if I forgot anyone). I know these cars had some ***** I wanted to see them play, it would have been sick!!!

Because of all this I-Speed spoke to Alex over e-mail about it and left it at that, in return we recieved a partial refund, which was fair as we did use the track. Chris has made the point about what happened and they are correct from my view, as we were both dissappointed with the outcome of the event. After that we were booted from I-Club Vendor status and when the event did show up on the front page of I-Club, I-Speed was not mentioned for anything, though the people that were there know everything that happened.

I know a lot of people don't like Chris, though there a lot more that do (those are the important poeple to us, our customers), besides that he is my business partner and long time friend. The only people that really know who helped I-Speed to where it is today is Chris, Adam (now LIC Motorsports) and Bill, if you have to question Chris about I-Speed then you are questioning me.

As for Dan Avon, would you please shut your trap about I-Speed. (I said I would never bring it up, but you have gone too far for too long...) I have seen your work first hand a few times, when I had to travel up there to tune a customers car (because it was not running) and only to find out you installed an injector incorrectly (so badly installed the car would not run at all). Then after I-Speed found the problem for you we had to fix your water line problems from the resevior to the Turbo, which caused the car to overheat on the way home. I then needed to charge my customer for the service call (which almost no tuning was done, and he needed to buy more AntiFreeze), cancel an appointment with ATP's dyno and then reschedule an appointment with ATP a few days later to finish tuning, and charge my customer for that tuning also. Do you think my customer or myself were very happy about this?

Cheers,

That's not true, and you know it. You're a great guy Bill, and I've known you from the start (remember that bbq when you first moved from Montana, or where ever you lived... haha). I'll give Chris credit that he did help get I-Speed to where it is today, but I don't know if that’s a good or bad thing. My first job ever was at a grocery store... they trained us for a week before we could start working... 4 out of 5 of those days was training on "How to be nice", and "How to leave your ego behind", because that’s the way that store sold products... They didn't advertise, they didn't have the lowest prices, but the people that worked there were nicer to their customers than any other employees from any other grocery store. This makes people feel like they are important, and just makes them feel good. Obviously you know something about this... I think Chris was out back smoking pot during the training. I think Chris pigeon holed I-speed for most bay area people...

Yea I admit I made a mistake. One injector didn't get seated all the way down, first time its happened and these injectors were rather large. Also my problem with water lines? As you know with VF22's the stock coolant line is stretched, we were well aware that it needed to get replaced when he got home. I'm friends with Steven and was helping him out (for free) Now i wasn't trying to insult you in anyway because like many other people have said in this thread, your a great guy and go out of your way to help alot of people.
