A couple of weeks ago at Capitol the blue 914 with an EJ20 was there. I'd like to get in touch with you. I'm am about to venture into the same project. I found a nice 914 that is pretty solid. I've been interested in doing this swap since Dana's 914 turned up in Subie Sport.
I want to talk to you about budget, problems, +'s, -'s. Experiences, ect. Wanna go to lunch? I'm buying.
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm going to have to track him down. It's a shame because it runs great. At least I should be able to get something for the motor. I guess I'll be making a few calls to Vegas. Hey Mike wanna get creative on a 914 swap? I know you love a challenge.
I saw a video on a 914 with a STI motor... Damn... that looks fun. I once found a 914 for sale near my house, but it needed way too much work for my experience level. Now that I know this is possible... I really wish I'd just bought it and figured things out as I went...

It might serve you to look into air to water for such a setup given the limitations of proper airflow at the motor itself.

The fabrication and install work done by the shop in Vegas is really top notch, I think the overall platform has potiental but the constraint of the factory TMIC with limited to no airflow would be a disaster waiting to happen on anything much more than a stock setup.

Hell yeah jeff. We talked about this being a potential reason to rebuild that ej. I'm glad you're doing it. I'd love to see you on the track man. You need help let me know.
