I actually loved the sound of the Borla exhaust a friend of mine had. Wasnt obnoxious but definitely louder than stock. Very similar to the the Cobb.
I know what you mean about the no exhaust sound though I had a junky beater that a friend of mine helped me install some random turbo into (read: a 98 cavalier that we thought would be fun to turbocharge) and i had to drive from Illinois to Texas with nothing but a downpipe... every time i saw a cop, i had to throw in the clutch and coast... it was INSANELY loud but you could hear the turbo spooling like it was sitting in the seat next to you enjoying the drive

NO exhaust sound? I do not know what any of you are talking about. I clearly remember the day I put on my Cobb catback, and the grin that was on my face as soon as I fired the car up

I also remember the grin on my face when I put on a Helix catback

I went from the Greddy TiC which was very loud, so much so I got a "noisy muffler" ticket just sitting at idle. So I switched to the Cobb which is perfect, just a little louder (than stock) at idle but comes alive at WOT. I had to put my stock dp on for smog and that makes it much quieter almost like stock. DP makes a big difference.

I love the sound of my friends Maddad. Quiet and bassy down low, screams at WOT. Been trying to find one used but they seem to be rare.

Quieter than the Greddy. Very similar to the Cobb. I hope they come out with one for the 2011 sedan. the one for the 04-07 looked very much like stock too, so it didnt attract attention by looking like a potato launcher
