Anyone want to lend a help with sparkplug change?
I can pay nominal fee and food/drinks. I've done Honda swaps, engine rebuilds, and yes, I've looked at all the DIY's here and on scoobymods, but with a toddler, life doesn't seem to offer enough time in a day for me to do simple maintenances anymore. Plus the suby is no honda, everything seems to take twice amount of time as the honda. I would like to see if anyone would like to help, and "show me the ropes", so to speak. I have hand tools, ramps, floor jacks, and the garage space, so I don't think I need anything, unless it's very specific (Kragen is just down the road).
If anyone has the time this weekend (Fri-Sun) and is willing to help, please let me know. I'm located in Brentwood.
Thanks
-Jeff

Yeah, wish I could help you out, but if you have the right tools (cheap from kragen) you can do it in less than an hour even if you're slacking.
On my RS I think I did it in like 30mins because everything is exposed.
I too went with NGK one step colder. WRC team used NGK, and thats good enough for me.

remove the airbox and windshield washer tank, then go at them. SOHC cars are way easier like brucelee said, just attack with wrench until successful.
The newer cars have that air pump. If so equipped, it is common practice to remove the battery as well.
If you really don't have time, look into the various bay area performance shops. They will be able to take care of you with quality plugs and a fair price, and you are supporting the community, which is good!
