Thanks man but I actually have all the tools I need to do the jobs correctly.

And just for clarification - I'm not looking for people to do all this sh*t for me. I wholeheartedly want to do this myself.

The reason I'm asking for help is mainly to get insights into doing the swaps more efficiently and without (many) mistakes. I also want to learn about my car, Subaru's and plus meeting some other i-clubbers doesn't sound like a bad idea either.

For me, it would be like the old days (before marriage and having a kid) when I got together with my motorcycle racing buddies to work on bikes, getting our hands dirty, talk sh*t and have a few cold ones

I've torn down and rebuilt several motorcycles in the past - just never was really into cars until I got the WRX and I just want to make sure I don't f**k it up.

That is all. So if some of you have time and want to kick it, help me out and provide some help, that would be awesome of you.

Thanks in advance

OK, back from NYC and planning out my Saturday....most likely going to add rear strut and sway bar to the day. also might pick up a 3" inlet tube....

However, I may have run into an issue that's going to prevent me from adding the down/up pipes and inlet (if I get it). I was under the assumption that a tune for just a down/up pipe on an 02 was only recommended and not necessary. but I hear from others that a tune is essential to making the vehicle run correctly (and making sure I don't blow my sh*t).

An AccessPORT is pretty expensive (i'm sure you get what you pay for). Is there another cheaper option that works equally well? I keep hearing about a open source software option.

some help and insight would be appreciated. thanks in advance

you can try to get it to a shop for a tune after you install everything but you will have to stay out of boost and it will probably take most of the day to install the parts. So you would have to wait until monday for a tune unless you get everything install quickly. You could also try to install the power mods first then take it to a shop for the tune and after that you could go back and install the other stuff.
