Anyone use slingbox? question about wireless network
Did this two winters ago. Pull from my rack in the master closet:
Augmented cat6
4x to living room
2x to bed #2, #3, #4
2x to garage
6x to office (bed #5)
1x to front eaves of house
1x to center of celling (top floor)
1x to kitchen ceiling
This was on top of the cat5e I already had pulled. the ceiling drops are for my APs which are, along with the front eave drop (camera), are all PoE. It's overkill but also totally worth never having to do any of that bull**** ever again.

I had no spiders. Granted house is only a 11 years old and I did it mid winter when they are all dead anyway... but the only place I found any evidence of spiders was right at the access to the crawl space. Besides, don't you have kids? make it a game and get them to do it.

Gagan, you'll be fine. I ran new cat5 and new coax to all the rooms in our house when we first bought it. Not much to it as long as the crawlspace is big enough.
