pretty sure i saw that F50 crash at infineon, if it wasnt that one it was another one at the Ferrari challenge race back in 05. coming out of the the long turn 6 on to the drag straight he lost control smacking the right front. got carried off the track on a forklift, just before that i was in awe over the amazing sounds and then heartbreak
lol sucks for that guy...learn to drive before taking ur multimillion dollar classic car on the track rtard

I was in the run group when the Porsche crashed. The guy pitted next to me got the whole thing on video. But I'm not one to take pictures or post videos of people who crash their cars at the track. It just feels wrong and the Karma is all bad. What comes around goes around and all that stuff. Having said all that it was a bad day for the Porsche drivers. Just in my sessions I had a GT3RS spin in front of me at the top of turn 2, a GT2 spin in front of me exiting turn 4, an M3 spin in turn 8A just after he let me by and of course the Porsche that hit the wall drivers right exiting turn seven. The air temp wasn't to bad, but the ground was ice cold all day long. I'm not picking on the Porsche drivers at all. I think it is great that they bring their cars to the track and run them the way they were meant to be run, instead of being a bunch of posers cruising down the freeway. If I had the money I would get one too. That all being said, it is also fun to pass them. There were also quite a few Nissan GTR's there also. I also met a Subaru driver doing his first track day. He was stoked all day long and said he would be back for more. That is what we need, more Subaru driving track junkies. I also have to thank the EVO driver who gave me a rear set of pads after I blew through mine, only to realize that I forgot to pack my spare set of rears. All in all another good day at the track

Hard to say if they were driving above their limit. I don't like to comment on other peoples driving unless they are driving like idiots or ***holes. And as far as I could tell neither of these apply in these incidents. Fast cars and cold tracks make for an interesting day. I was glad for the all-wheel drive advantage our cars provide.

My customer said the initial track conditions were quite poor; cold, wet, etc.
The track cadre repeatedly told people that they needed to exercise caution until track conditions improved and or tires started gripping.
