Anyone Know a Place that Rents out Ice Chests &/or Awnings? (for a picnic)

Sorry for post+threadwhoring it up the last coupla days, but this one's pretty important. My sis & I are having a bbq for my Dad's b-day next weekend, and I'm having trouble tracking down extra ice chests/coolers and one of those folding awnings. Anyone know a place (in or near SF) that rents them out?

I really don't want to buy them cuz I rarely ever use the 2 coolers that I have and doubt I would use the awning that much either. but I do need about 3-4 more coolers cuz I have a bunch of perishable food to keep cold.....meat, potato+macaroni salad, b-day cake, etc. for 70-80 people. Worse comes to worst, we were thinking of just using a few of those huge Rubbermaid storage bins. my sis has a lot of those. they're not insulated, but I guess it's better than nothing.

anyways, if anyone knows of a place that lends this stuff out, i'd appreciate it!

thanks in advance,

CL

thx for the suggestion, stupidchicken, but i was trying to avoid buying and returning the coolers. i feel kinda bad about doing that. i might for the awning tho.

and i really appreciate you offering up your cooler, SUBY, but i'm trying my hardest to get the coolers from one source. it'll be easier for me pick-up and drop-off wise, and also, i'd feel really bad if a wild raccoon clawed the crap outa someone's cooler or a tree fell on it or something. lol

btw, i did ask some friends and fam, but they either don't want to lend out their gold plated+chinchilla lined coolers or can't make it out to the picnic site early enough. i don't wanna depend on a bunch of people to bring their coolers and get stuck w/spoiling food if they're late or forget.

another alternative to coolers, this mainly is for drinks, get the big plastic buckets. They are like $5-8.

We just had a BBQ for 70 people and a couple of those for drinks and one cooler was enough for food.

WERD, for hammy we don't even use coolers, we use giant buckets with A LOT of ice... Coolers would be far too expensive... And I doubt you need that many coolers, I mean, more than hammy... All we did was get two giant tubs from target for like $10 each or something, ice, ice, ice, ice, ice = win.

and don't give me that "we're going to be in a remote area", cuz hammy is remote as hell!

EDIT: We use coolers for food

i'm not so worried about the drinks. we'll just use tubs (them plastic Rubbermaid bins) and a whole mess of ice for those.

what i am concerned about is keeping the meat, potato+macaroni salad, salad dressing, fruit salad, cheese, and creme filled+frosted cake cold. i have 300+ chicken+vegetable kebabs and a crapload of burgers, dogs+sausages to keep chilled.

the 2 coolers i have will probably just the kebabs. i can just stick the cake and fruit inside bins of ice too, but i really would like another 2 coolers for the rest of the meat and mayonnaise-based salads & dressings.

if i hafta, i guess i will 'borrow' a couple from Target or Costco. if this was a picnic w/my friends or randoms, i'd have no prob getting ghetto and using even trash bags w/ice for most of the stuff (yes, i've done it) lol but this for my dad's 60th, and a bunch of his old friends+relatives are coming from outa town. i can't risk getting the old folks and kids sick.
