Anyone know how to save voicemail off of the system?

In short, I'd like to save some voicemails left by my previous landlord off of my iPhone incase I need them. Anyone know if this is possible?

Good question. I would rig up a good mic and record them to mp3.

I wanted them in a more user friendly form, like mp3's or something. I figured with all the apps out there, there had to be some way to record them to the computer.

No need now though, she called back apologizing for being an idiotic, rude, selfish, money grubbing, law evading **** and said my check with be in the mail tomorrow. Well, not in those exact words.

Well the only thing she would have succeeded in was wasting her time, as legality was on my side.

Use an audio dubbing cable (you can get them at best buy, frys or radio shack) that has two male stereo plugs. You plug one side into the headphone jack of the iphone then one side into the microphone port on the back of your computer and if you use windows use sound recorder to record it. (To get to it click start > Programs > Acessories > Entertainment)

here's an ebay item of one so you know what they look like.

For the future, there are companies that will do exactly this - save voicemails for litigation purposes. They will even sign affidavits stating that the archived voicemails are in fact from your phone number/account, from such and such date, the method they used etc. Might come in handy in case you need it later on. A homemade mp3, no matter how well done, just may not pass muster as "properly authenticated" for some purposes.
