Anyone know anything about servicing watches?
I bought a Tag Heuer Carrera Day Date a little bit over a month ago and I noticed there's a small speck of dust/lint on the face. It's warrantied but I want to avoid sending it to the other side of the country. Is there a quality place in San Francisco that I can go to that will do warranty work on my watch? THANKS!

This place sounds like they deal with expensive watches, I see a few tag hauer related reviews.

Why don't you look on their site and find an actual AD?
Watches For Men - Watches For Women | TAG HEUER
Or send it to Tag directly...
TagHeuer eSAV
Reminds me that I need mine serviced soon. I would not trust an in-warranty watch with a non-authorized service center for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I want an authorized service center. The Tag site sucks to navigate and doesn't give you much information.
Do dealers do repairs? I can't see a Macy's or places like that doing the repairs...they prob contract out? (i'm a noob at this $$$ watch business... sorry)
Why not send it out to Tag to have cleaned...because I don't want to deal with shipping and waiting if i can avoid it. When I bought the thing it took almost 3 weeks for Tag in NJ to send it to me, and it came with a damaged box (the watch moved around and tore holes in the box liner during shipping. They then had to sent me a new box to replace it) add the lint/dust issue...I'm not impressed with their QC or speed. =/
I'll give Baume a call, it sounds like they do great work and are licensed tech (or... horologists if you will, lol. funny title) should be easy work...open, clean, close, pressure test. Maybe they can help me with warranty work? That is if someone else has any other suggestions or info.

For warranty work its gonna have to be sent to the manufacturer. Even if you take it to an AD, they'll just send it out. It won't be done in-house.
You could have it opened by a repair place that deals with high-end watches, but you'd void the warranty.
The higher end watch you get, the more you have to deal directly with the manufacturer.
