Dear Bay Area,
The time has come for me to move on and head back home. I just accepted a position with Mazda Nort American Operations based in Irvine. This is a fantastic opportunity for me, but sadly means I have to leave a community that I've been a part of for so long.
I will miss everyone that I've known for years and have gotten to know over the years. I've been a part of the Subaru community for 14 or so years and this is going to be quite the change and challenge, but I'm ready for it.
The good news is I'll be visiting the Bay a few times a year so I'll get to see a few of you as time permits.
Really, I just want to say thank you to those of you that made my time here worth all the trials and tribulations. I'd never have made it through this journey without you.
There are a million things I want to say, but I'll leave it for now.
Sincerely,
Teh Unit

Wow, congrats! Good luck with the new job.
Kinda sucks for the community too though. Even though I only met you in person twice at the shop and Gary speaks very well of you too, you seem like a good dude.

First you say you sold the car and got a truck, now this.
When's your last day man, I have the rest of those shop visits all around ya Monday, I'd be down to buy ya a fare-the-well lunch, LOL, I'll call it a "business expense"".

Nice, I was just in Irvine wednesday and have to say the weather in Socal is so much nicer than in Norcal. I left here and it was raining and it was a nice 70 degrees down in Irvine. `
