Hello everyone,
Let me first apologize for all the BAM threads, it's a necessary evil.
Does anyone know of any local shops or places that would be interested in vending at BAM X? I have all of the local subaru shops covered, but thought it might be cool to get some dent guys out there, maybe window tinting places, etc? It doesn't even have to be Subaru related, and perhaps even a restaurant that is willing to donate food to us as a trade off for advertising at the event (like handing out cards, fliers, hanging banners, getting their name on the shirt, etc).
BAM is on Sept 12th so we have about a month and a half (just shy of) left, so if you know anyone that would be interested please point them in my direction so I can give them the rundown. I'm trying to get us as much free stuff as possible, and as many raffle prizes that we can get for the homeless dogs and cats that really need our help.
Remember that the raffle proceeds (every cent, 100%) goes to the Furry Friends animal rescue which is a non profit org that is run by volunteers. Every cent we donate will go to a GREAT cause. Furry Friends works by adopting animals that are put on the 12 hour death wait at local shelters... Basically if no one adopts an animal after a few days, it's going to be put to death... This is where Furry Friends comes in... Volunteers go in with their own money and adopt these animals so that they aren't put to death. They then foster the animal at their own home until they find that specific animal a home. Last year we were able to save the lives of MANY dogs and cats because our money went towards adoption fees, food, and any medical fees... People who couldn't afford to adopt these animals due to the shelter costs were able to adopt them thanks to you guys, and always remember that you were responsible for saving the life of a couple dozen cats and dogs... If it wasn't for our AMAZING vendors that wouldn't be possible AT ALL. The prizes at last years event were just mind blowing! I mean, we had a fully built racing engine as a prize for Christ's sake! We even got our own page on their website which thanked us for our donation... Stuff like that really makes me proud to own a subaru and to be part of a community full of such great people.
Thanks for making this place into what it is... And lets all thank the vendors who have made this all possible. 10-11 years ago this place was so different and we had such little support from vendors, I never would have though an event like this would have been possible but I've been proved wrong, big time!
We should get some stickers made that say "I <3 BAIC Vendors"

Bump for some possible vendors!
Remember, it can be just about anything, from misc car stuff to food... If you know anyone, remind them that they would gain some great exposure from around 500+ people which is great advertising for any company.

That would be AWESOME!!! Perfect venue for a company like Monster... Subaru enthusiasts + energy drinks = match made in heaven, you junkies!
So if they make is a surprise, that would ROCK.
