I want in too! I was hoping we have something like this for quite some time. I've even mentioned it before at a few meets before. Yay! We got something solid and close of being arranged!
I'm up for some Holdem or Blackjack. Sorry, not a big fan of 7 Card Stud though. 5 Card Draw is ok too!

This would be fun to get up and running in Sac. A bunch of guys from my old bible study would play (go figure) and it was always entertaining. Plus I have gotten addicted to the ESPN Series.

one other thing. MJ is bad-**** (I am assuming ya'll are talking about Mah Jiang. You dont need to speakey Chinese. My girlfriend wrote down the characters so I have a nice little cheat sheet

Ok... I think first of all, we need a real true head count. How many people are expected to show up. Set the rules and the gambling bets.
I know a lot are new and want to play for fun. I know a lot are pros and want to play for some nice green. Nevertheless, we should accomodate for all.
We also gotta know where, when, and how much.
Can we bring other friends along who aren't i-club associated?
Also, I think we should all help out and pitch in. Bring a snack pot luck type of ordeal (chips/salsa, pretzels, cookies, even salad, drinks, etc.) Most importantly, respect the host and the house for their kindness and don't ruin or mess things up!
Perhaps also bring some extra decks and chips just in case other people want to play different standards or different games. Anyone up for some Go-Fish! or some other weird card games? haha
Last but, seriously not least... Seriously, no collusion nor cheaters/mechanics. Otherwise, you got the whole I-club to deal with and you're going to ruin the whole prospect of future gaming meets. Also, you're gonna be sssooo BANNED!

I would be up for some Texas holdem. A friend had a tournament a couple weeks back, $25 buy in, winner took home about $300. It was the first time I played, I lasted quite a while before I was eliminated. Best part was the stripper serving drinks the whole night. Made it tough to concentrate sometimes. 
**** i think we have enough for a very nice sized tournament! well i am definately in i just learned how to play about 6 monthes ago and i cant find enough games to play now. i think its time we found a time and a place. and if anyone else is interested in getting together to play a few hands give me a call. the only thing is i have football practice for west valley so its gonna have to start after 9 and it cant be at my place. but if provide the place ill provide the poker chips! haha

If's its a Fri/Sat night, Im definitly in. Miss my poker nights since moving out to bay area.
I'd say not to do blackjack, since whoever has to be the house has the front a lot of money.
