i would but i want to use my best buy card so i can take 12 months to pay it off. Guess I'll just have to find an old PS2 and hook that up too so i can play my PS1 games as well. So I'll probably get a slim! Lets hope it doesn't break asap.
Ive had my ps3 for a while, but as a "gaming" machine it gets dusty, it finds most of it's use as a bluray player.
360 is where the gaming is at.
If I wanted an HTPC, I would build one.
I'm still waiting for GT, I think it will be coming out in 4 years.

GT for PSP is confirmed for October 1, in time to be sold alongside the PSPgo. Exact timing for GT5 has not been announced, but it will definitely be in 2009 in time for the holiday rush. It's unfortunate it took so long, but if you know anything about Polyphony and Kazunori, you know it'll be worth the wait

Well.......
you have everything from the larger consoles, shoved into a small *** frame, and everything got hot before, it's gonna get hotter, faster

The new system uses 250W versus 280W on the old one, and like 380W on the launch systems, so it should be no hotter than the PS3 Phat despite the redesigned cooling system. I've only seen the new PS3 running alongside the old one for a few minutes and I didn't think to check the heat. If I get another chance though, I'll be sure to check that out.

Very probable simultaneous global release said by Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi. Doesn't get much more official than that
The wait is over people get ready!
