Hey, since you just moved here, come hang out with us at the DCKK/pool meet this Sunday. You don't have to be good at pool or anything silly like that. It's just an excuse to hang out. Here's a link if you are interested: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...4731#post84731
As for dinner options, what kind of food are you looking at? Where in SF or DC are you? There's WAY TOO MANY restaurants out there if you aren't more specific about type of food and/or location. I mean, where in SF do you want to eat at? Japan Town? Chinatown? Downtown? The Richmond District? The Sunset? Geary? South of Market? North Beach? The Wharf? As for cuisines, Chinese? Japanese? Thai? American? French/Classical? Diner fare? Prime Rib? Steak? Seafood? Strip Club food?
Specifics, man!

okay, in that case, you are also in striking distance of our Monday San Bruno Starbuck's meets, every week at 7pm at the Bayhill shopping center.

As for lunch/dinner, I can't today, have to clean up for some housewarming party I am having this weekend.
Hmm.. okay, lots of good restaurants in the Westlake area. Banana Islands is good eats for a variety of Southeast Asian cuisine. King Wah Chinese is good, as is the Thai restaurant next to it. Hmm.. Todai's for one of the best buffet's in the area (sushi, lobster, crab, shrimp, REAL soba or ramen), Fuddruckers for the bison and ostrich burgers (YUM!), Tempura House at Westlake for decent Japanese cuisine/sushi, Tani's Kitchen around the corner (small place, GOOD FOOD) for homestyle Japanese cuisine and sushi. Joe's of Westlake is a local favorite, although I haven't eaten there in a while. And last, but not least, In-N-Out Burgers and Krispy Kreme donuts near the Daly City Civic Center and DMV.
