Anyone have the digital camera hookup?
Heh heh, no I don't mean items that have fallen off the truck. I was wondering if anyone has the hookup and could help out one of their long time i-club brothers. 
I'm looking at a Canon G2 and IBM 1 gig Microdrive. Best prices I've seen on these items are around $520 and $220 from semi-reputable places. Problem is I am moving and I want to get this before I leave next Wednesday. I don't trust online retailers to ship items that fast this time of year.
So does anyone work at a camera or electronics place? Can meet or beat these prices? Any suggestions of a camera that is in similar price/feature/quality range as the G2 that might be better (I know it's an older model). The one thing I noticed that is lacks is really long shutter speeds. It tops out at 15 seconds.
I want to hook it up to my new telescope and I don't think 15 is long enough to take pictures of the really cool deep space stuff.

The prices above are from online retailers so I doubt any store in any state would beat or match those prices unless you have a pal that works there.
The thing is I want to get some pictures of my family and my car all packed up (since all I'm bringing for 6 months is what I can fit in my 2.5RS Coupe) before I leave.

I think they are under new management or something... they used to be about twice as much and a lot more of a custom feel with cool inlays, etc. Now the site doesn't even mention Hawaii?!
But yeah, even now they are still pretty pricey...

I have been looking at getting a G2 for a loooong time. The only other cameras I would consider are a G3, a Nikon CoolPix 4500, and the 5000. Speakin of Phoenix, I got back from there last night. I was expecting to see tons of hot women, but was disappointed. Maybe I would need to hang out around ASU or something.
By the way, a G2 for $220?? That is amazing.
