Also, when you watch these films, you have to expect a bit of cheese... and not expect a Gladiator or something

Just saying that Hitman was entertaining.

To those of who watch ALL these films and complain about them, why even go watch? Why do you think they make them? They make money.

Here are some examples:

* Super Mario Bros. (May 28, 1993) - CRAP
* Double Dragon (November 4, 1994) - CRAP
* Street Fighter (December 23, 1994) - CRAP
* Mortal Kombat (August 18, 1995) - CRAP
* Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (November 21, 1997) - CRAP
* Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (June 15, 2001) - OK
* Resident Evil (March 15, 2002) - CRAP
* Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (July 25, 2003) - OK
* House of the Dead (October 10, 2003) - CRAP
* Resident Evil: Apocalypse (September 10, 2004) - CRAP
* Doom (October 21, 2005) - HUGE PIECE OF CRAP
* BloodRayne (January 6, 2006) - Was this piece of crap even in the theaters for more than a week?!
* Silent Hill (April 21, 2006 - CRAP
* Dead or Alive (September 15, 2006) - CRAP
* Resident Evil: Extinction (September 21, 2007) - CRAP
* Hitman (November 21, 2007) - CRAP
* In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (January 11, 2008) - CRAP
* Far Cry (October 2, 2008) - Probably Crap
* Max Payne (October 16, 2008) - And.....CRAP. Surprise, surprise....
I agree- taking something from the limitless world of video gaming and trying to make a credible motion picture just seems like a flawed concept from the start.

Kind of like the whole "Disney on Ice" thing- why would anyone take characters from the cartoon world and think people would be entertained by making people in their costumes skate around???.

I mean, seriously WTH are these "producers" thinking?

Man, Max Payne was supposed to be the video game movie that didn't suck.

Sounds like that was more marketing talk than anything.
